Make a call via the portal
To do this, go to Actions > Make a call. Then, complete the fields below and press ‘Call.’
You can link 2 calls together via the portal. This could be useful if someone wanted to link 2 external calls together or asked for a call to be connected to their telephone handset.
Example
Reception has a handset in the waiting area and would like to connect a call from the person waiting to someone in the office. This method allows for the two calls to be joined together.
Make first call to: You can select a Telephone or Number. The box below will change to what you have selected.
When answered, forward to this is the number you want the call to ring after they have answered. This could be another extension or an external number. Callerid on first call: This will be displayed to the first extension or external number. Request extension to auto-answer: if calling an extension number first, this will attempt to make the device go 'off hook' so that the second call can be made automatically because the first has been answered. |
