Local Phonebook Contacts tab

Local Phonebook can be found using the following tab at the top of the tablet.

Local Phonebook contacts are available if you have logged in to your Google account when setting up your tablet. Any contacts in your Google account will be displayed here. If you are not a Google user, the Cloud phonebook tab will display any shared contacts from your telephone system.

 

Note, you can set up local phonebook contacts by adding your Google account later or start a new one.

Swiping left will take you back to the speed dial screen.

Swiping right will move you forward to the cloud phonebook screen.

 The search function at the top of the page allows you to search for local phonebook contacts. When you click in the box, the onscreen keyboard appears.
It will begin the search as soon as you start to type

When you select your local contact, all the details for that contact will appear. You can choose to dial the number or email that contact if the email address is stored. 

 

Note that when emailing, it will go to the default application you have enabled for your mail system.
