Presence avatars
The presence of avatars helps you understand the current status of each team member. This can be useful when routing telephone calls to colleagues.
Luke doesn't have a status badge. This means that Luke is available for calls.
Laura has DND (Do Not Disturb) shown in a black badge. This means none of her phones will ring and she can’t receive voice or video calls. She can still receive chat messages but may not respond right away. |
Stacey has a red badge with a cross, indicating her status is Unavailable. It’s still possible to call her extension for voice or video calls, but she may not answer. |
Paul has a telephone icon with a red badge, showing that he’s currently on a call. If you call him now, the call will come through as Call Waiting if that feature is enabled.
Depending on the user’s permissions, you might also see the name or number of the person they are currently speaking to. (This depends on your permission settings and you should check this with your administrator).
This pop-up also shows how long someone has been on the phone. |
In some cases, you may also see a message set by the user to indicate their status or availability. |
Right-clicking on an avatar brings up quick-click options to help you contact team members more efficiently. |
Clicking on the avatar opens a more detailed view of the user’s profile, provided by the Cloud Phonebook. Some fields may be filled out but not displayed, depending on system settings. |
