Installation and Set up
Once the MobeX service has been activated in the portal you will receive a text message from MobeX (if you haven’t received this, speak to your service provider to send it again) or simply search for ‘MobeX+’ in the relevant app store.
Click the link in the text message this will take you to the MobeX app in your app store. This is where you can download the softphone.
After the app has been downloaded, you will be presented with the below screen asking you to allow the following permissions:

For MobeX+ to work correctly, you must enable the permissions as suggested.
Once you have accepted all the above, you will be asked to enter your mobile number and select ‘Get Code’. Please ensure you have given your communications provider the correct number. |

Then, you will be sent an authentication code to your mobile via SMS and be prompted to enter the code on the screen below. |

Android users may find it auto-loads. If it doesn’t autoload, copy the code into the box and it will complete from there.
Once completed, MobeX will auto-configure to your extension, so you are ready to start making and receiving calls from your mobile device as if you were in the office. The standard setup is now complete. |
