Making an internal call

Using the dial pad

You can make an internal call in several ways.

 

You can dial the four or nine-digit extension number. 

 

Once you have entered the number, press the dial key.

If the dial key is greyed out like this.

Please check your internet connection.

Once the call is in progress (ringing), you can end the call by pressing the end call button.

If you are connected to the called party and you wish to end the call. Then press the hang-up button.

Call using the presence screen

If you have presence avatars set up in your app, you can use them to dial internal staff members.

 

 

Left-click on one of the avatars to open the details of that person.

This will then display any details stored in the telephone portal for the user's extension and cloud phonebook entry.
Using any of these icons will call, video, message or email the user.

You can also right-click the avatar to use the quick function options.

 

Again, you can call the extension number, chat with the person, start a video call, or send an email.
