If you press the following icon it will take you to the below contacts screen.

Presence Tab

The first tab will show your presence sometimes referred to as BLF (Busy Lamp Fields from the old fixed telephone days). Here you can see whether your colleagues are on a call, in DND or online and available. Press the picture to bring up their profile, then press to call them.
