Speed Dials (Shared)

Speed Dial can be found on the menu under Features - Speed Dials. This is to share speed dials between all telephone Extensions.Extensions. You can activate this on one Extension by going to the telephone linesextension and choosing the Extension.Extension. The option is at the bottom of the page. However, if you want to share a speed dial between all Extensions,Extensions, you can create this in shared speed dials.  This is a good place to put names and numbers you would likewant to dial regularly. This has since been updated with the use of the Cloud Phonebook.Phonebook. This facility works more interactively with the handsets and soft client apps rather than just a simple speed dial.dial using a code.

Speed Dial Settings

Speed Dial Number
This will be the number you will dial to call the destination number. You could use something like *100 to *999. This would keep the speed dial number away from the Default Feature Code range and give you 1000 numbers to work with.
Description
You can add a description if you would likewant more informationinformation, but it is not necessary.unnecessary.

Destination
This will be the number that will be called when you dial the speed dial number.
Force Caller Name on Calls from this Destination
If the destination number calls intothe yoursystem, system. Itit will match the name here and display it to the person answering the call.
