Make a call via the portal

To do this, go to Actions > Make a call. ThenThen, complete the fields below fields and press ‘Call.’

Example

Reception has a handset in the waiting area and would like to connect a call from the person waiting to someone in the office. This method allows for the two calls to be joined together.

Make first call to: You can select a Telephone or Number. The box below will change to what you have selected.

 

When answered, forward to:to  this is the number you want the call to ring after they above have answered. This could be another extension or an external number.

Callerid on first call: This will be the number displayed to the first extension or external number called.number.

Request extension to auto-answer: if calling an extension number first, this will attempt to make the device go 'off hook' so that the second call can be made automatically because the first has been answered.
