Automatic number porting.porting Allowsallows numbers to be loaded directly onto a customer'customer’s account.
The ported numbers arebecome live straight away, allowing you to use them as thefor outbound CLI.CLI Itpresentation. This also allowsenables you to programconfigure number routing within the systemsystem. forIf numberneeded, routing. Eacheach ported number can havebe assigned a temporary number if required (your choice).number. This willsetup enablelets you to point the old system (with the current live numbers,numbers) to the temporary numbers.numbers, so This isit's a great way to bringactivate the new service at anytime, including over a customer into service over the weekend andso haveeverything themis up and running by Monday morning.
The porting numbersprocess will progresscontinues in the background as usualusual. (whyDuring ohthis whytime, does it always take a long time?). This means the customeryou can be onuse the new system,system usingwith theiryour 'real'real numbers as theirthe outbound CLI. You can createbuild all the routingrequired forrouting, their numbers, assince the temporary number and the ported numbernumbers work in tandem. You can evenalso complete the e999 records.records in advance.
Once the numbers are finallyfully ported (horray),ported, the temporary numbers will be removed from the account, leaving only the real numbers in place. The e999 information will also be updated withto reflect the realcorrect numberingnumbering.
