Call Recording Bundles

Call recording bundles can be found under Features - Call Recording Bundles.


There are a number ofseveral call recording options for you to choose from.


1. Per Extension Only

This is a call recording free storage bundle with unlimited storage for a  specific period of time.period. Time periods may varyvary, but you will find 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 12 monthsmonths, and between 3-3 and 10 yearyears periods. This option also allows you to use an external (S)FTP storage facility or send the recordings toby email. Charges apply to create the recording on a PPM chargecharge.


2.  Per Extension Only 

Call recordingRecording offers free storage and a free recording bundle with unlimited storage for a period ofsome time. Time periods may varyvary, but you will find 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 12 monthsmonths, and between 3-10 year periods.


3.  Record Anything 

Call recording storage based on the size of storage. These may vary but will include the following. 1Gb, 2Gb, 4Gb, 5Gb, 10Gb, 20Gb, 50Gb, 100Gb, 500Gb, 1000Gb and 2000Gb.This option also allows you to have the option  to use an external (S)FTP storage facility or use the send recordings tovia email. Charges apply to create the recording on a PPM charge.


4. Record Anything 

Call recording storage is based on storage size of storage and free call recording. These may vary but will include the following 1Gb, 2Gb, 3Gb, 5Gb, 10Gb, 20Gb, 50Gb, 100Gb, 500Gb and 1000Gb.



You can choose what type of call recording group you require. You can mix and match by adding different types of call recording groups to perform differentother services for the customer's business.

Advanced Record Group Settings

Name

Enter a name to identify what type of record group this is for. For example, ‘Sales group - 50Gb’

Description

Add more details here ifIf you need to enter more information about the call recording bundle group, you can add more details here, but it is not necessary to do so.unnecessary.

Owner

If this option is selected. It allowsselected, ‘Users’ tocan manage this record group. Administrators can see and maintain all record groups.

Record calls in

You can choose Yes or No. You would normallytypically select ‘Yes’ as this option allows the call recording of any inbound calls to a particular service or feature.

Record calls out

You can choose Yes or No. You would normallytypically select ‘Yes’ as this option allows the call recording of any outbound call from a Telephone line.

Storage Type

This option allows you to determine ifwhether you want the record group to be a per Telephone line unlimited storage type or a fixed storage limit. Remember that if you need to regraderegrading the record group, then thisgroup could cost more than choosing a higher option.

IfYou will see the following options if you have selected a storage size size-based record group, you will see the following options to choose from.group.

Storage usage email alert

OptionsThe options are Yes or No, with No being the default. If you select Yes, thistwo more boxes will open 2 more boxes.open.

Email address to receive the alert

You can enter the email address you wish to receive thean alert when the desired options are reached. You can enter more than one email address by leaving a space between each email address.each.

Alert threshold (%)

You can select when to receive email alerts informing you that the storage is at the capacity reached. This can be set between 60% and 100% usage.

Notify by email

You will receive a link on every call recording that is created. You can choosethen search your emails and click on the link ( you may need to enter a username and password to access the recording due to security issues). Remember if the call recording is outdated or you have used all the space in the storage system. The links may no longer be available to access removed call recordings.

 

You can add Telephone linesExtensions, Numbers, Hunt Groups, Queues, Feature Codes, & Page Groups to add to this recording group.

You can also see what record group your service is part of by looking inside the particular service you wantedwant to record. If you have selected a Number or a Hunt Group, you can click on the relevant Number or Hunt Group andand, under Settings, find whatthe record bundle group it is in. Please note,note that a service feature or Telephonetelephone line cannot simultaneously be in a call recording bundle and aor standard record group at the same time.group.

It will show you what groups the current service is in, this shows 250351001 is in a standard record group.

 

The same options are available with the time time-based record group settings,settings. however,However, you can only add Telephone LinesExtensions to this type of record group. Please note, that settingSetting up a call recording bundle for SIP trunks will not work correctly with the per per-telephone time time-based recording groups. The recording group of this type will only record 1one call per telephone account,account; therefore, if a second call is in use like you would expect with a SIP trunk setup, the second call onwardsfrom wouldnow on will not be recorded. If this is the case, you shouldso, switch to our standard call recording packages or use the storage storage-based call recording bundle type.

WithinYou can see which extensions are in the recording bundle group you can see what Telephone Lines are in this group. You can also find them under Telephone Lines - ExtensionsLine SettingsSettings.
(S)FTP & Email recordings.

Some of the call recording bundles have the option to use FTP (SFTP) & email recordings.

When you select one of these bundles, the email recordings box will appear along withand the option to enable (S)FTP.FTP will appear. The email option will send the recordings to your email inbox, if this is not enabled the recordings are available on the system. WhenMore options appear when you change the (S)FTP option to yes, more options appear.yes.



HereHere, you can change from SFTP to FTPFTP, but we strongly recommend using SFTP to make sending the files more secure. EntryEnter all the details required for your server storage solution. WhenYou will be charged for this extra facility when you click save at the bottom of the page. You will be charged for this extra facility. Don’t forget that this try of call recording bundle also carryscarries a ppm charge for recording the call.



Regrade

Options here are Yes or No, the default is No but when you select Yes it opens another box below, that allows you to choose what type of record group you want to regrade to. You can only regrade to a similar record group type. You can regrade to make the group bigger or smaller. Keep in mind,Remember, as stated above, that regrading could cost more than selecting the correct size to start with on the day of creating the group. If you think starting with 1Gb and then moving to 2Gb and upwards will save you money however,money,  please remember that the regrade iscosts a higher costmore than starting with the correct size.



Searching and downloading call recordings.


You can find access to your recordings in 2 places. Either at the bottom of the record group

or on the right right-hand side before you enter into the record groups

When you click intoon the recordings of the record groupgroup, you will see the search area to find yourthe recordings you are looking for.

You can choose a particular group to search from or you can select all groups. Please keep in mind thatthat, depending on your access rights, you may only have access to 1 or some record groups depending on your access rights.groups. If you are an Administrator thenAdministrator, you will be able to access all groups.

There are many options to drill down the recordings you are looking for. You cacan choose froma start and end date, a full number that was calledcalled, or a caller. You can even enter a part of a number or even an area code if you weare looking for calls from or to a particular areas.area. You can also choose to display the results by time and date order, duration of the callcall, and size of file.

IfYou can select the download option if you want to download more thatthan 1one recording, you can select the download option.recording. This will allow you to download up to 10 hours of recordings at onceonce, and the file will be created and ready to download after a timecertain period. You will be sent an email like this 

To retrieve the zipped file from the server. Go back into the record group recordings and at the bottom of the search facility you will find any recordings that are waiting for you.
