Numbers
Once you have set up the extension and handset, it will be connected to our server, and the new extension number will be shown on the handset. You can direct phone numbers to this telephone extension or one number to multiple extensions. To add a phone number to a customer's account, switch to the customer and go to Features - Numbers, then click New.
Follow the steps to choose the number type you would like, depending on the name or area code. You can then select a number listed under Choose a number. This will take a few seconds to load as it searches for available numbers from our 4 million database.
Then press Next
By default, the default destination will be Hang Up Call. The default destination is where the call will be directed once dialled, for example, this could be a Hunt Group, a Queue or a Telephone Line, for this example we will choose a Telephone Line. Once you are happy with the configuration, press Save and return to the list of numbers.
Click save, and you can now receive inbound calls on the number chosen for the telephone line you have just selected.
